This policy describes how Midland Industries Pty Ltd ("Midland") collects, uses, and handles personal information through the OpsMachine internal platform. This platform is not accessible to the general public and is used solely by authorised Midland employees and contractors.

2. Information We Collect

When you sign in to OpsMachine, we collect your Microsoft Entra ID account information including your name, email address, and organisational role. We also log your access activity, including pages visited, records created or modified, and timestamps of those actions, for audit and operational purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

• Authenticate and authorise your access to the platform
• Display your name and role within the application
• Attribute data entries and changes to the responsible user
• Maintain an audit trail for compliance and quality assurance
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues

4. Data Storage

OpsMachine data is stored in Microsoft Azure infrastructure located in Australia. Authentication is handled by Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory). Midland Industries does not store passwords — authentication credentials are managed entirely by Microsoft.

5. Data Sharing

Personal information collected through OpsMachine is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties except where required by law, or as necessary to operate the platform (e.g. Microsoft Azure services used to host and authenticate the application).

6. Data Retention

Activity logs and user-attributed records are retained for the duration of your employment or engagement with Midland Industries, and for a period after as required by applicable law or internal policy.

7. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have a right to access and correct personal information held about you. To make a request, contact the IT department at it@midlandind.com.au.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of OpsMachine constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
